Process development for composites projects: designing, modeling, problem solving - and 3D printing!
Documenting composites knowledge to share.
Check out the new Articles page for a few in-depth discussions of building with high performance composites - and the stuff you’ll need to get it done.
North Shore Composites (Chris) is moving back to the Boston area after three years in Bristol, RI. My focus is shifting from running a job-shop to doing more process development and product related work. I’m also working to document and share practical composites knowledge so others can benefit from all the mistakes we’ve made over the years! Doing some additive work too - both hardware development related and as a printer-for-hire. I have both Markforged composite and plastic FDM printers and do some commercial printing.
Rob is remaining in Bristol, and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. He is working on the build of American Magic’s America’s Cup “boat.” We are still working together on projects and he has been developing both CNC machining and 3D printing capabilities. If you need stuff printed he does standard FDM and also high performance thermoplastic printing for end use parts.
Thank you for your patience with us during this transition - and please get in touch if you have any questions.
NSC is located just outside Boston, MA, USA. Please get in touch to discuss your project!
